New tech website: Solvoz.tech
For those that have missed our color change (we got two), we got big news! For years, Solvoz has been known for transforming procurement in the humanitarian, aid, and health sectors with our innovative digital platform and technology. It became known at Solvoz.com with our orange color scheme. Now we pivoted to blue and orange.
Behind the platform lies something even more powerful: technology that can build entire market ecosystems. With our recently launched website Solvoz.tech, weâre shining a spotlight on what powers it all. From procurement solutions within organisations to external-facing marketplaces connecting buyers and suppliers: Solvoz technology is designed to build ecosystems that are fair, transparent and scalable. This month we have launched our new website Solvoz.tech. Learn more about our history, our technical specs and features, our offerings for either procurement or market creating mechanisms. Or see more about several of the portals that are powered by Solvoz technology, like NCDconnect or Mawared Mena.
We keep on servicing you all in the aid and health sectors with solvoz.com but if you need your own deployment, a dedicated portal or mechanism, there is powerful technology ready to build your ecosystem too.

Investment agreement formalizing the Phillips Foundationâs support to Solvoz.
This month the Philips Foundation‘s Entrepreneurs Summit in Berlin took place. Attended by our colleague Claire Barnhoorn, and joined by the eco-system of entrepreneurs and solutions servicing and supporting health and charitable responses in LMIC countries. During the summit a huge milestone we are very proud of took place. Bahaa Eddine Sarroukh and Beatriz Volckaert Almansa from the Philips Foundation signed the investment agreement with Claire Barnhoorn formalizing the Foundationâs support to Solvoz.
Weâre deeply grateful for this partnership, reflecting our shared belief in the power of digital infrastructure to drive systemic change. A testament to our shared vision of fair, transparent, and resilient procurement ecosystems that strengthen health and impact-driven systems worldwide. A big shout out to the entire team of Philips Foundation for their commitment, support and collaboration over the last five years and the new chapter we are entering in today: Victor de Boer Caroline Gitonga Timea Nemeth Yannick Eshuijs Eline Houwen Karthik Govind.
With Philips Foundationâs catalytic backing, Solvoz enters its next chapter: scaling technology that helps every euro spent deliver greater impact. Backing not just a company, but a shift in how supply chains create impact. Contact us to learn more.
ESUPS and Solvoz have signed a Letter of Intent
Weâre proud to share that ESUPS – Emergency Supply Prepositioning Strategy and Solvoz have signed a Letter of Intent, marking the start of our pathway towards system integration.
Florent Chane and Claire Barnhoorn marked this milestone last month while in Copenhagen; during workshops on localization and preparedness in humanitarian supply chains. A fitting setting for a partnership years in the making, now turning collaboration into concrete action. The vision is to connect two complementary digital platforms, ESUPSâ global stock visibility system and Solvozâ procurement technology: to make humanitarian data and supply chains truly interoperable.
Together, we aim to enable faster, smarter and more inclusive preparedness by enabling data to flow where it adds value: across agencies and systems. Our pathway is to align our infrastructures, taking a tangible step toward a shared vision: preparedness that is inclusive, connected and actionable.
IOM toolkit
âťď¸ New Circular Economy Resource now available on the IOM UN Migration Publications Platform: âToolkit for Developing a Circular Economy for E-waste in Displacement Settingsâ. This Toolkit was developed as part of the IOM E-waste Project and produced through the collaborative efforts of a diverse range of partners, including Solvoz, BRIGHT Products, AceleAfrica, Open Energy Labs, and Mercy Corps. It also benefited greatly from the invaluable contributions of the Global E-Waste Taskforce in Displacement Settings, which includes organisations such as UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, World Food Programme and Tinkr.
This new resource underscores how improving e-waste management in displacement settings can not only mitigate risks to the environment and public health, but also helps to generate sustainable livelihood opportunities for displaced populations, fostering resilience and supporting the growth of a localised, circular economy. We are very proud that Solvoz could contribute to this, which crucially recognises that there is no single model for developing a circular economy. Instead, it offers a suite of practical, adaptable tools designed to support flexible approaches that respond to the specific needs and circumstances of individual humanitarian contexts.
